Senior Manager Logistics Planning
**General Description**
This position will lead incumbent and upcoming projects to support operations by facilitating communication across various groups, especially the Sales and PSI teams. The scope of projects includes (but is not limited to) inbound logistics, warehousing, network design, outbound optimization, and returned goods management. In-depth and specific knowledge of system structures and SCM are required, as are positive and definitive leadership qualities which are crucial for on-time completion of projects. This position will require strong data analysis, process design, and communication skills to engage with business partners, colleagues, and customers. NECESSARY SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES
* Capability to manage projects of large scope, lead ad-hoc teams, and supervise group of staffs
* Solid negotiation, leadership and professional presentation skills
* Project management skill
* Industry experience in Logistics
* Strong financial analysis and simulation skills
* Very strong analytical, problem solving written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to make business direction recommendations on moderate to broad scoped project analysis
* Update senior management on state of the business
* Document and data collection for supporting departments/activities
* Manages Logistics staffs
* All other duties as assigned.
**Necessary Skills / Attributes**
* Bachelor's Degree
* 10+ years prior supervisory/management experience
* 7+ years of experience in the logistics or supply chain industry
* The successful candidate must have demonstrated the ability to develop and implement complex business plans, manage resources, and analyze data
* Ability to work in a changing, fast paced environment is a must
* Individual must be detail oriented and able to handle multiple projects concurrently
* Strong verbal and written communication skills are needed to interact with internal and external contacts
* Advanced analytical MS-Excel and MS-Word computer skills are required PREFERRED SKILS AND EXPERIENCE
* Bachelor's specializing in business, supply chain, logistics, or accounting
* Master's degree and/or supply chain certification
* Advanced SAP
