# Scope of Job
Assist with database management. Coordinate and plan reporting activities to provide information utilized in advancement operations related to gift processing, donor biographical data, donor acknowledgement, and other fundraising data. Provide data analysis for strategic decision making.
# Description of Duties
* Manages fundraising and alumni analytics, benchmarking, surveys, collaborations and special initiatives for the division of Institutional Advancement.
* Verifies donor database for accuracy, reliability and data integrity thought timely processing of updated information and regular maintenance projects.
* Provides proactive and data-driven insights that inform advancement business decisions, focused on data mining and development of strategies for cultivation and solicitation of prospects.
* Provides strategic database support to the Database Management Director.
* Ensures database information is maintained in accordance with laws and regulations regarding confidential information, identity thefts, as well as Internal Revenue substantiation laws.
* Designs and assists in monitoring the performance of donor support services in the development office by managing information services operations for the advancement community.
* Proposes, tests and assists in the implementation of business processes driven by fundraising and donor initiatives.
* Analyzes data to ensure alignment with institutional and divisional mission and goals.
* Develops and produces periodic and ad hoc reports as requested.
* Designs, develops and maintains endowment compliance information in the database in conjunction with the endowment compliance officer.
* Works collaboratively with other advancement areas to process annual stewardship report to endowment and scholarship donors.
* Designs, develops and maintains endowment compliance information in the database.
* Performs other duties as assigned.
# Required Experience
Three (3) years of related work experience, including experience in database report preparation and analysis techniques.
# Working Conditions
Needs to be able to successfully perform all required duties. Office Environment; some travel and weekend work is required.
# Other
Ability to present analyses and information to small and large groups and to interpret and make recommendation based on customer needs. Knowledge of fundraising terminology and processes. Advanced understanding of the working of a development office, including major gifts and annual giving programs and relational database management.
